Sad news on gynae ward

On our arrival in Hoima, we heard the news that Sister Miriam from the gynae sadly died unexpectedly in August.

She was a huge asset to the gynae ward and is missed by all her colleagues in Hoima. The good news is that the gynae ward continues to run smoothly and standards have not dropped. Sister Rebecca is now running the ward and is working hard to continue what Miriam started.
